    Conclusion {blended_learning.gif}
    I believe e-learning is a great tool for motivated and disciplined learners and learners who have no control over their learning situation and have to complete all courses online. However, I believe blended courses are the best category where e-learning is concerned. I say this because students have an increased chance of actually acquiring something substantial from a blended course than a fully online course. Nonetheless, e-leaning is a decision that needs to be made on a student-to-student basis because every learner is different and has various needs that can be met with many different mediums.

    While e-learning seems mostly advantageous, there are defiantly some disadvantages. One of the major disadvantages with this type of learning is the issue of dishonesty on the part of students. Questions arise such as; is the student completing his/her own assignments, tests and quizzes? Is the student in fact completing this class on his/her own? How can the educational institution possible keep track of whether or not students are being honest. These are questions that cannot be answered because of the medium being used for educational delivery. For the most part e-learning has advantages; however, the major disadvantage cannot be ignored and this is something that cannot be controlled. It is up to the students and their personal morals and ethics when it comes to honesty.
    E-learning can also be a part of blended learning. In this case, students complete a portion of the course on-line and the other portion in the classroom. I believe this approach is more feasible because students and teacher have a fair balance to ensure that learning is actually taking place. Additionally, students and teachers have an opportunity to meet and human contact in some cases is necessary to achieve higher levels of success.
